Andrew regularly represents buyers, sellers, founders, and investors in asset and equity transactions across a variety of industries. He guides clients from deal structure and letters of intent through drafting and negotiating purchase agreements. Clients value his ability to translate complex legal mechanics into practical business terms and keep transactions moving efficiently toward closing.
Andrew also works closely with founders at the earliest stages of company formation, advising on entity selection, operating agreements, ownership structures, governance, and long-term planning designed to scale with the business. Many of his clients continue to rely on him for ongoing contract, leasing, intellectual property, employment, and risk-management advice as their companies grow.
Andrew’s background in big law and his federal clerkship in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia inform his drafting style and practical approach to preventing disputes before they arise.
Before practicing law, Andrew worked for five years at a national technology consulting firm serving Fortune 500 clients, and spent a year in Managua, Nicaragua leading community development initiatives.
Andrew earned his law degree magna cum laude from the University of Richmond School of Law, where he served on the executive board of the University of Richmond Law Review, and holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Virginia Tech’s Pamplin College of Business.
